Equipment in Rafting Adventure

When doing this Bali Rafting adventure, there are many equipment that you will need, one of which is:

Rafting Boat

The first equipment is of course a boat for our tool through the rapids. Boats in rafting are usually made of polyester nylon and PVC.

This boat consists of 2 types, namely non-self-bailing and self-bailing boats. Non-self-bailing means a boat that is not equipped with a water drain hole, while self-bailing means a boat that is equipped with a water drain hole.

If asked which is more concise, of course the answer is self-bailing. Because, when water enters the boat, we don’t need to drain it with a bucket because it is equipped with a drain.

Paddle

The paddle plays a role as a tool for us to maneuver or adjust the direction of the boat on the river. Usually made of wood, aluminum, plastic, and fiberglass.

The most widely used in several rafting tourist spots are paddles made of aluminum and plastic because they are considered lighter and stronger.

In its use, this paddle will be carried by each participant including the guide when going through the rapids.

Life Jacket

As you may have recognized, this life jacket has a special role to make you float if you fall into the river.

In addition, this life jacket has another role, namely as a body protector or body protection in collisions, either due to obstacles in the river, paddles, or accidental movements from your friends.

Helmet

The helmet has a role as protection for the side of the head from collisions with rocks or other hard objects.

The design of the helmet for rafting is different from the usual one used when riding a motorbike. The difference can be seen from having a simpler shape and no visor on the front.

Throw Bag

This throw rope is important safety equipment in rafting adventures. Its role is for safety when one of the participants falls far from the boat.

This tool is in the form of a coat rope tied to a small bag. Usually it will be carried by several guides in rafting activities.

These are some of the equipment you need for rafting activities. However, you do not have to prepare all of this equipment yourself but it is included in the Bali Rafting Price.
